These workouts are a form of high-intensity interval training, alternating between short periods of intense exercise and long recovery periods. The hour-long sessions are designed to generate excess post-exercise oxygen consumption, or in layman’s terms, the body consumes more oxygen as it returns to its pre-exercise state. If you’re looking for a strengthened and toned core that is low impact on your joints, this is the workout class for you.
