Women’s History Month Events in DC

Women’s History Month Virtual Events
This month, Avec on H Street Apartments is proud to celebrate women’s contributions throughout history. As we reflect on countless milestones women continue to accomplish, we want to allow our residents to celebrate right along with us!
Though many prominent museums are still closed due to COVID-19, the Smithsonian will be hosting various virtual events through their “Because of Her Story” initiative.
This initiative creates an opportunity for attendees to learn more about women’s history through various lenses; this is a great way to learn about women’s historic impact across all backgrounds and expertise.
As women’s history is consistently re-defined every day, we know that women’s evolution is something we can all enjoy.
Here are some of the events we’re looking forward to this month!

You will learn how to identify music samples in contemporary songs and reconstruct a sample for a beat of your own while using FL Studio, Sampulator, and Sample Stitch. The best part is that your MIDI is the keyboard.”
