Pop-Up Mixology Class
During this 90-minute pop up Mixology Class you’ll learn to make shaken and stirred cocktails, as well as the history behind them. This class is offered
during several different dates this July. Whether you’re looking for a fresh date night activity or just something fun to do with a friend or two, this is the event for you. H Street Fresh Farm Market
H Street Fresh Farm Market is one of our favorite farmer’s markets in the area. Stock up on some fresh local produce and other goods every Saturday from 9am-12:30pm at this outdoor farmer’s market at 800 13th Street NE (just a few short blocks from Avec!). This is a great opportunity to catch up with friends over an iced coffee or meet some new friends as you peruse.
AV Sessions (Open Mic) at Pie Shop
AV Sessions is an Open Mic like none other in the DMV! It is a platform where local artists and musicians can come together to rock out as a
collective. These sessions happen monthly and consist of three featured artists followed by an open mic jam session. If you’re a musician looking to jam, or just a music fan looking to enjoy some great local jam sessions, this is the event for you. For ticket info and more details, click here.
Shi-Queeta-Lee’s Illusion Drag Brunch @ H Street Country Club:
In a city known for their brunches, you can add some spice to your normal brunch experience at this DC legend’s hosted brunch. Enjoy live entertainment as Shi-Queeta-Lee and her friends embody your favorite divas and put together a music show full of glitz and glamor that will be sure to get you out of your seat.
