At The Avec on H Street, we believe in building a true community of residents who love calling us their home. Our residents should feel free to stay as long as they like and live without life-altering surprises. The biggest of them all being an enormous rent increase after your first lease term. While we can’t control all that life throws your way, we can guarantee you this: upon your first renewal, your rent will increase no more than 5%. That’s the absolute MAX.

What does this mean?

Instead of worrying if you will be able to still afford to live in the building you love after the renewal increase, you can go ahead and budget for this year and next year with no stress. You would have chosen to make a long-term commitment with us, and we want to repay this by showing you renewal pricing consistency in hopes you will choose to stay a little longer. This is promise isn’t contingent you signing an extended lease. Your contract will not be stretched beyond 12 months unless that is what you desire, in which case we also offer up to 24-month leases. You can even sign for as short as 6 months, but let’s be honest, we’re going to treat you so good, you’ll never want to leave!

This promise is ours to keep. These terms are built into your lease, so you can take that promise to the bank along with your hefty savings.

So why are we doing this?

No, we haven’t gone crazy. We know this isn’t common. But the fact of the matter is that we are renters too, and we know how frustrating it can be to live in uncertainty. With that being said, we want you to show you that we are just as passionate about you staying as we are about you coming!
