DC residents can attest that it’s an incredible feeling when you stumble across a newly designed mural. You immediately want to stop and do a combination of two things: Take a picture and share it with someone you know would appreciate it! The same feeling invokes when you finally notice an older mural you frequently overlook. A rush of gratitude instantly fills your body as you realize that an inanimate object like a brick wall, window, or storefront, can be transformed into a living, breathing piece of art; it’s genuinely poetic. 

This genuine appreciation for DC Street Art has encouraged us to have our mural designed at Avec on H Street Apartments! Our mural is big, bold, and filled with life! We are honored that our building can be a part of the popular street art culture in DC. We hope that the thousands of people who will eventually stop and enjoy our new mural will fall in love with the design just as we did!
